She has an appointment for her annual follow up this Thursday the 9th, is it too late, do I have to consult by then or can I relieve her in the meantime with something.

If his symptoms persist, it is wiser to see a doctor sooner than on the 9th

If it's really a urinary tract infection, you shouldn't wait to treat it.

In the meantime, her best option for pain relief is acetaminophen.
