My 15 1/2 month old daughter (27lbs) is taking Tempra 1.5 mL for her teeth, but she does not seem to be getting any relief. Can I give her tylenol for 2 years?

Hello, ma'am,
The dose of tylenol (Tempra) must be calculated according to the child's weight and not according to his age. The difference between the 2 products you are talking about (Tempra 0-23 months versus Tempra 2-5 years) is in the concentration of the medication
What is the concentration of Tempra that you are currently giving your child and how often is the medication given?

I give it to her every 4 hours when she has a big toothache, 1.5ml of tempra 0-23 months for 23lbs! But as I mentioned, she weighs 27 lbs.

Thank you for the clarification
Continue to use the same product (Tempra 0-23 months), but increase the dose to 2 mL every 4-6 hours for a maximum of 5 doses per 24 hours.
If relief does not seem optimal at this dosage, do not hesitate to switch to a branch. We will offer you other treatment alternatives.
We hope to have answered your question.
