Hello! In fact, we usually start by taking oral antihistamines (e.g. Claritin, Reactin or Aérius) which have the advantage of being taken only once a day (every 24 hours), without drowsiness and which help to relieve most of the seasonal allergy symptoms (sneezing, runny nose, tingling eyes and throat, watery eyes etc.)... There is no one type that is proven to be superior to the others, you have to try it to find out which molecule gives you the best relief. In the case where all types have been tried and some symptoms persist, we can add an additional therapy: example: cromolyn eye drop (available in the laboratory, over the counter, if ocular symptoms persist) or corticosteroid nasal spray (example: Flonase or Nasacort, also now available over the counter in the laboratory, if nasal symptoms persist)... And if all of these options prove ineffective, you should consult a physician for other options requiring a prescription... Hope this helps a little, don't hesitate if you have any other questions Good day Isabelle Pelletier
