Oh.
So my advice comes more from my experience as a dad (X3) than as a pharmacist.
He needs to see a clear benefit to doing it. Otherwise, we're causing him pain for nothing in return (healing for him at his age isn't enough).
Then try to find out what motivates him, what delights him, and make sure he gets it after his care.
