I'm 36 weeks pregnant and sometimes I get some pretty painful hemorrhoids. What can I do to help my situation?

Sometimes they are almost gone. It comes and goes. I would rather deal with the problem at the source. I eat fiber and drink water (+ LaxaDay if needed).

Hello Ma'am,
Preventing hemorrhoids from occurring is very important, you are right.
The best way to prevent hemorrhoids is to avoid straining when you have a bowel movement. The pressure in your abdomen (increased by your pregnancy) causes your hemorrhoidal veins to enlarge which in turn produces hemorrhoids.
Lax-A-Day is a great idea to get (and stay) well hydrated. Eating fiber, too. Beyond that, moving frequently is key (especially if you're taking fiber supplements). Try to take a walk after every meal.
If walks and hydration aren't enough, you could take Lax-A-Day regularly (every day) until you give birth. Just talk to your doctor about it! 😊
