Can changing pills cause pelvic pain?

Hello, I have been having pelvic pain for several weeks now. I had gynecological exams and nothing abnormal was found. They made me change my pill. I would like to know if this could be due to the new pill. I have frequent bowel movements and sometimes I feel nauseous. (Optidril 30 pill) Could it be an ectopic pregnancy? If so, wouldn't it have been detected during the ultrasound and the gynecological examination?

Thank you for your question! Does the reappearance of pain coincide with the start of your contraceptive?

I don't know if the pain is due to the fact that I am starting a new pill

Some people may experience abdominal pain with birth control pills. One way to find out would be to stop the contraceptive. If the pain goes away, you can try again, and if the pain comes back, you can get a better idea of whether the drug is causing it. Is this a strategy that could be tried on your end?
