I have pain on the tip of my nipple, it is very itchy and I have a burning sensation (thrush feeling). What should I do?

I breastfed my baby for 1 week until last week...baby has absolutely nothing. I had big wounds on my nipple and the symptoms appeared when they healed.

Hello Ma'am,

It may be lily of the valley, indeed. They may also just be micro cracks that are healing.

To be sure, one could simply apply Canesten™ to the nipple twice a day for 7 days.

If that doesn't relieve the symptoms, then we consult.
