Yes, Lax A Day can be given to a child. The amount of powder will be determined by your child's weight: We suggest 1 gram of powder per kg of your child's weight. For example, if your child weighs 5 kg, he/she will be given 5 grams of powder that will be diluted in a small amount of liquid such as water, milk, soup or other, once a day
Your pharmacist will be able to show you how to measure 5 grams, as the product only comes with a 17 gram measure.
I also suggest that you encourage your child to drink plenty of fluids, and to eat high-fiber foods such as fruits and vegetables, bread and brown rice, etc., to prevent constipation as much as possible.
