What can you give to a 2 1/2 year old who is constipated? When she goes, it is long and it hurts her a lot (big and hard)

Hello Ma'am,
The first thing to do is to try to solve the problem without a laxative.
At this age, the most common causes of constipation are:
Too much cow's milk;
Lack of fiber (fruits and vegetables);
Lack of water intake.
Do you think any of these reasons are involved here?

Hello
Maybe indeed. So less milk and more water might help him?

Exactly. We aim to give her less than 6 ounces of cow's milk per day.
