Hello,
First of all, with the symptoms you report and the intensity of them, I strongly advise you to go see a doctor for a medical evaluation. If you do not have access to a family doctor quickly, I would suggest using the following service: https://www.rvsq.gouv.qc.ca/fr/accueil to get a medical appointment.
The symptoms you are reporting may be similar to Covid-19. Based on the current situation, I would recommend that you go to the following website: https://covid19.quebec.ca/surveys/cdd2/introduction to see if a screening would be necessary in your case.
In the meantime, here are some tips you can apply to help relieve your symptoms (if you don't have any allergies or contraindications):
  • Tylenol (acetaminophen) 500 mg 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed (maximum: 8 tablets/24hrs); may help reduce fever and throat pain.
  • Stay hydrated (drink water) and try to rest
  • Try to eat. You can choose foods that are easy to swallow (e.g. yogurt, soups). Opt for smaller meals to eat more frequently!
Hoping to have been able to help you,
