If the Advil Cold & Sinus has not been effective for you, I would indeed encourage you to discontinue it.

Using Hydrasense is one of the best solutions for this. I recommend performing nasal hygiene as often as necessary during the day, there is no maximum

Since Advil was not as effective as you would have liked, I recommend acetaminophen (Tylenol and other brands) which can help with the pain. However, you may need to reconsult if you feel that it is getting worse, or persisting.
