Good morning, Madam,
Sorry for the delay in responding.
Working as a pharmacist in the emergency room, I can confirm that it is very rare that we have to go to the emergency room because of the amount of alcohol consumed.
Usually, it is best to start consuming fluids (soups, Gastrolyte™ type rehydration solution, water) slowly again. If after several hours you are still vomiting the liquids you consumed, this is a sign that you need to go to the emergency room.
Typically, we see people in the emergency room who are unconscious from alcohol and therefore cannot drink fluids. We give them intravenous fluids.
It's a pleasure,
Alexandre
