Could it be due to a dermatitis or eczema that requires an antibiotic cream more than a simple moisturizer?

Hello, for a few weeks I have developed redness around my mouth and near my nose, which itched for a few days and has subsided with a lot of moisturizing. The redness has also diminished but is still very present. I don't know if it could be more than just dehydration.

Hello,
Yes, it really depends on the appearance of the redness, if it is a dryness, it should go away if you apply measures to moisturize the skin, avoid perfumed and irritating soaps, use a ceramide-based cream to moisturize, drink water, and protect yourself from the sun. If these measures are not sufficient, then it is possible that it is no longer a case of dryness, in which case it is better to consult a pharmacist before going to the doctor
