I am on the birth control pill Seasonale which results in a period every three months. In the next year, my partner and I are planning to have a baby. We were thinking of starting to try in January 2022.

Hello, thank you for your question!
If you are currently not planning to get pregnant until January 2022, it is not necessary to take a break from your Seasonale for more than 7 days. You can stop it if you wish, but be aware that you may get pregnant sooner than expected :)
It should not take long for your period to return following discontinuation of the contraceptive. In most cases, this can take a few weeks to 3 months.
Hopefully, I have helped you, and I am still available if you have any further questions!
