I think my baby has seasonal allergies, what should I do?

My daughter is 9 months old, when we go outside, her eyes run and become very red. She doesn't stop sneezing and she has intense nasal discharge (lots of congestion). Her father has very bad allergic reactions at the same time as her. I don't know if despite her young age and the fact that her dad is also very allergic that she can have seasonal allergies. What can I do to help her? She doesn't sleep and scratches her eyes a lot and has trouble breathing through her nose.

Hello Ma'am,
Some children this age have similar reactions during times of allergies, unfortunately 😞.
To help them, we can try to:
  • Reduce going outside somewhat when the pollen count is high;
  • Rushing to wash face and hands with water and a washcloth as soon as you come inside;
  • Have her wear a wide-brimmed hat;
  • Fly baby as soon as you get inside;
  • If needed, give her Claritin children's syrup.
