What over-the-counter cream should I use to get rid of it?

Hello, I went to see my doctor and told him that I had a white patch of dry skin on my thigh near my middle leg for a few months. He told me that it was probably Psoriasis but he forgot to tell me what I should take to make it go away. It doesn't really sting, it just feels like I have dry skin under the first layer of skin. Is there an over the counter cream to make it go away. Thanks :)

Good evening,
Psoriasis usually requires treatment with cortisone or a derivative. Since the skin becomes much thicker, the products needed are usually quite strong and they are all prescription. It is surprising that your doctor did not prescribe anything, it is probably an oversight.
You can ask your pharmacist to fax or phone your doctor for a prescription. If he or she cannot be reached, the strongest product available without a prescription is Spectro Eczema Care cream, but you should ask at the counter and put it on file.
I hope I have helped you!
