I didn't understand my pharmacist's explanation for the boric acid suppositories?

Good evening, since my vaginal pH is constantly disturbed, especially after my period or after an intercourse, I was prescribed boric acid to be applied intra-vaginally and it is the first time in 5 years that a treatment works. However the effects do not last long and 2-3 days after the treatment is finished, the odors and redness start again. Earlier I went to my pharmacy and the pharmacist told me that it was ok if I didn't take the boric acid for 14 days (that's what it says) and I explained to her that after only one ovule of boric acid I see a huge difference. I was pretty stressed and uncomfortable since it was so crowded so I think I misunderstood, but I think she told me I could put it in quite frequently (if needed) like 2-3 times a week just to maintain some balance.

Hello, Mrs
Since you have questions about a prescribed product, and you have received advice from your pharmacist, it would be best, for the sake of consistency, tocall herdirectly for clarification. This will help ensure continuity of care for you, and she will be able to document her interventions to better follow up on your needs.
Sincerely
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
