Do I need to see a doctor or do you think I just have a cold? Here, Daddy had a cold this week too.

Hello! 5 month old baby. Cold since 2 days: snot (I syringe saline water 3x/day, blow baby's nose), coughs and chokes on secretions, and since a while, seems to "lose her voice"... I feel she has a sore throat. But no fever, drinks well, general condition good (8/10 I would say).

Good evening,
At this point with what you describe, there are no red flags on the horizon. Here is a useful document: https://naitreetgrandir.com/fr/sante/naitre-grandir-sante-enfant-rhume-grippe-ivrs/
What do you think of it?

Yes, it does make sense! I just wondered if her dry cough and loss of voice was due to a tonsillitis or pharyngitis infection or something like that, which needed to be diagnosed. But I guess she would have a fever if that was the case.
i thank you for your quick response! 🤗 have a great evening!
