Hello, since a few days I have a cough and I have a lot of secretion in my throat. I blow my nose a lot, my sinuses are not blocked. According to you, is it a simple cold or flu? I took syrup (bottle finished) and no improvement on the cough side. What do you recommend to reduce this cough? P.s. No fever Thank you

Hello, thank you for your question!
If the syrup did not work, I would suggest that you stop using it.
I would opt for nasal hygiene with a saline solution (Hydrasense, Sinus Rinse and others), which can be done as often as needed during the day, and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. By 'cleaning' the nasal secretions, we can reduce their backward flow, which often causes coughing. It's a little uncomfortable but works great!
I encourage you to drink lots of fluids, cold or hot depending on your preference, and you can also use lozenges for local throat relief, like Fisherman's Friends or Halls.
I hope I've been helpful, and I'm available if you have any further questions!

Thank you for your answer!
i have been taking sinusrinse and lozenge for 1 week now. The lozenge is the only thing that keeps me from coughing endlessly and getting gagged
i will continue this routine and drink a lot of water
thank you

Thanks for the feedback!
A cold can take 5-10 days to clear up, but the cough may persist for some time after recovery.
Having said that, I recommend that you go to the following site for a self-evaluation of your symptoms and to evaluate the need to be screened for COVID-19, which remains one of the best ways to protect yourself and your loved ones:
Sincerely
