Hello, I'm trying to get a baby, I've heard of two friends who lost their periods after the covid vaccine. Should I take this vaccine? I am 40 years old, given my age and the difficulties to conceive at this age, this vaccination would not make things worse? Thank you

Hello, the COVID vaccine has not been associated with decreased fertility or complications during pregnancy (it has been given in pregnancy for several months). I suggest you get it as scheduled, as soon as possible. Don't forget to start your prenatal vitamin supplement or at least your folic acid as soon as possible in preparation for this pregnancy.
