Citalopram + natural products to get pregnant, is there a risk?

Hello I stopped the pill in Oct 2018 and since then I don't have periods (since 8 months). After blood test, my hormones are normal and I am not POKS. So I tried last month to take Vitex (Gattillier) for 1 month and I ovulated and had my period. I stopped taking it (I read that it was dangerous with citalopram) and I still don't have a period this month. I would also like to take myo-inositol with vitex to boost my fertility and get my period back. Is it safe to take vitex and myo-inositol at the same time as citalopram (40mg) for anxiety? I want to get pregnant and I am 29 years old. Thank you

If you are planning a pregnancy, the most important thing is to start a folic acid vitamin a few months (ideally at least 3) before conception. This is compatible with Celexa. Among the medications sold for fertility (e.g. Fertil Pro), the evidence of effectiveness is not very convincing, but again, there is no interaction with your Celexa. Celexa is also maintained in pregnancy, we try to have it at the minimum effective dose - an appointment with the doctor who follows you before conception is recommended. Good luck to you

Yes, I have been taking folic acid 1 mg and multivitamins for the past 8 months, but is there any interaction with vitex, myo-inositol and celexa or is there no data available at this time? Vitex gave me my period back for a month but I am wondering if it is okay to take it.

Vitex and myo-inositol do not interact with Celexa but are not studied in pregnancy, so I would not use them in this context due to lack of evidence
