Is there anything I can do to reduce the side effects of stopping Sertraline?

Hello. I am in the process of gradually stopping sertraline (at 25 mg). I have a lot of dizziness, lightheadedness and some nausea.

Hello, thank you for your question!
Gradual withdrawal aims to reduce the effects of stopping the medication. If you are experiencing these symptoms in a rather pronounced way, it could be, among other things, that the reduction is done too quickly.
In this case, I recommend that you talk to your pharmacist to slow down the rate of decrease. Several options are possible, such as alternating between 2 doses for a while and re-evaluating afterwards. Your pharmacist could make you a personalized schedule, document your file to ensure better follow-up, and keep your doctor informed.
Hello, thank you for your question!
I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
