Is it a good thing to give probiotics to an 11 month old baby who often has colds? If so, which brand is good?

Hello Ma'am,
No, taking probiotics in children does not change the frequency or duration of colds according to the data we currently have. Same with multivitamins.
What helps a lot is frequent hand washing and cleaning the nose with a nasal hygiene technique (here) at the onset of even the slightest symptoms.
Vitamin D at 400 IU per day could possibly help (the data is conflicting on this, but considering that Health Canada recommends everyone living in Quebec take it, I tend to recommend in such a case).
