Is Celexa more dangerous than effective?

Hi, is it true that citalopram has more dangerous effects on health than it can be effective? I'm taking 40 mg and it worries me... Thank you!

There is no drug that is free of side effects, but in general, the benefits greatly outweigh the risks. If you are not experiencing any side effects at this time, do not worry, there are no known long term dangers, on the contrary, treatment stopped too early carries a significant risk of recurrence. If you are still concerned, do not hesitate to call your pharmacist directly to discuss your case

Ok I had read this information in the magazine Prescrire and they said that it is a drug to be removed from the market... I have been taking it for 15 years for a tag. Do you think I should discuss it with my doctor to change my antidepressant?

If your tag is well controlled, I would maintain the treatment, at this dose, it is very safe
