Can vaginal candidiasis cause infertility?

hello, can vaginal candida that is not properly treated for years have an effect on fertility? can it block the fallopian tubes?

Hi, thanks for your question!
An untreated yeast infection can become very uncomfortable, but it is unlikely, if at all, to have an effect on fertility. Also, this type of infection does not block the fallopian tubes as the fungus does not usually travel that far into the reproductive tract.
