Good evening,
I have 2 babies of 5 1/2 months (AC 4 months 1 week), they are constipated and the prune puree does not help, can I give lax a day?

Hello! Lax-a-day is a very good pediatric laxative. With the symptoms you describe, the speed of intestinal transit does seem to be reduced. The iron could be partly responsible. Be sure to give water between feedings to help with constipation. The dose of Lax-a-day is 1 gram per kg of body weight once a day. So about 7.7 grams of powder mixed in 4 ounces of water for your 17 lbs child and 6.5 grams in 3 1/2 ounces of water for your 14.6 lbs child. Be aware that the product takes about 36 hours to start working. I recommend that you treat once a day for 1 week to see the effects
