Trying for my first baby, ovulation test indicates that I will ovulate, beginning of my last period on October 18, 2020. Is this normal?

I haven't been taking birth control pills for about a year now and my cycles have always been irregular. I am 33 days after the beginning of my last period and I will ovulate on November 20 according to my ovulation test. My cycle is much longer than 35 days. Should I consult? Is it dangerous? When should we consult if we are not regular in our cycle? I don't notice anything abnormal, no pain.

Hello,
When menstruation is irregular, it can happen that the time between 2 ovulations is very long (or conversely very short). It can also happen that between 2 periods, there is no ovulation. Obviously this instability can make the period of conception more complicated.
The good news is that there is nothing wrong with you right now. There is no need to consult for this currently. Also, it is in no way dangerous as it stands.
Using ovulation tests to find your ovulation is a great idea to find your more fertile time. A visit to a doctor (or fertility clinic) is recommended if traditional methods have not been effective and you are still not pregnant within 1 year. From that point on, the clinic that takes care of you may prescribe medications that can ''induce ovulation'' in a more predictable way.
I hope I have answered your question. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate.
