My 4 1/2 month old baby has been spitting up a lot more in the last few days. What should I do?

He almost never regurgitated. He has had controlled reflux for several weeks (zantac + thickened enfamil) and even when his reflux was not controlled he did not regurgitate... For a few days now he has been regurgitating in large quantities and sometimes even up to 2h30 after his feeding. He has been a little more crabby lately but it's hard to say if it's related to the regurgitation. Is this normal?

He drinks the same amounts as usual and at the same time (about 6 ounces every 3:00-3:30)

Hello Ma'am,
It's possible that it's covering a small intestinal virus, all simple. In some children, we also find that teething seems to increase these symptoms.
The best thing here is to simply wait a bit to see if the symptoms will go away on their own within 14 days.
In the absence of fever, discomfort in the child and if the child wets his diapers well, the consultation is not necessary.
Happy day :)
Alexander
