Breastfed baby. I have a cracked breast and she has been drinking some blood. She regurgitated some yesterday. Is it possible that there is some in her neck?

We went to the doctor yesterday to rule out that the blood was coming from her. The problem was really my cracked breast. This morning (a little over 24 hours after her blood regurgitated), there are black strands in her stool. It must be the rest that was digested? Thanks

Yes, it is quite possible!

In such a case, the presence of black filament should stop about 48 to 72 hours after the bleeding in the nipple has stopped.
