I recently increased my dose of citalopram to 20mg (since 3 days) and I have more extrasystole than before... Is this normal?

Hello,
The increased dose of this medication can temporarily increase anxiety by sometimes causing a surge of energy, which could result in a faster heartbeat. To conclude that you have extrasystoles, you should be examined by a doctor.
These symptoms should gradually diminish and disappear within a week. If not, talk to your doctor, who may want to examine you in person or lower your dose. Returning to your previous dose should quickly make this symptom go away.
Have a nice evening.
