Is it normal not to have a period 1 month after stopping the birth control pill?

29-year-old woman5 years ago
I stopped after the 3rd week of my pill pack. Yesterday I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. I am feeling PMS with strange little symptoms including nausea, slight cramping and tightness in my belly. Is this a hormonal delay?

Hello,
When you stop taking the pill, it can take up to 3 months for your body to return to the regular menstrual cycle you had before. The pill does not affect your fertility, but it is normal to have a period of adaptation when you stop taking it
Hope to see you soon,
