Hello, I wiped my vulva and clitoris with an alcohol wipe without knowing it. It happened yesterday afternoon. After work at about 10 pm I washed with cold water and a neutral soap (soft gel) and dried it well, then I put Vaseline on it, but it didn't work, it burns a lot and it burned all night. I have the impression that the two sides of the vaginal hole is irritated I feel a swelling that burns to the touch. Thank you for your advice.

Hello, For the inflammation, you can take an anti-inflammatory, for example ibuprofen (Advil) at a rate of 400mg every 6 to 8 hours. It is recommended to wash with warm water, avoid cold water, scented vaginal showers and scented soaps. Use a soothing cream such as RepaGyn over the counter or coconut oil after washing and drying. Watch for other symptoms (secretions or odor or difficulty urinating). If you are taking other medications, please let me know to avoid interactions with Advil.
