Good morning, Madam,
Sorry for the delay in responding. It seems that your account had not been activated when you asked your question, which explains this delay.
According to the website of the company that produces Enfamil milks, the difference between the regular formula and the "lower iron" formula is only in the concentration of iron, the other ingredients being identical.
If the regular formula is still out of stock at the time of writing, it would be possible to take the lower iron formulation and supplement the child with iron at the same time. This may be considered when a low iron formula is used for a long period of time (a few weeks) in a child who should be on the "regular" formulation.
If the break in supply is short term, this supplementation is not necessary in my opinion. You can simply take the "lower iron" formulation.
I hope this has answered your question.
Have a nice day,
Alexandre
