Hello,
Advil (ibuprofen) is compatible with breastfeeding
As for Advil Cold and Sinus, it contains a decongestant, pseudoephedrine, in addition to ibuprofen. This last ingredient can be used in women who are breastfeeding, but you should know that it can theoretically decrease milk production. This is because decongestants have a vasoconstrictor effect, which means that they narrow/contract blood vessels. Therefore, if you use it, it is advisable to monitor your milk production and stop the medication if it decreases
If you want to avoid this effect, it is possible to use a nasal decongestant spray (e.g. Drixoral, Otrivin) that acts locally in the nose. These products can be used for a maximum of 7 consecutive days. Otherwise, the safest option by far is a saline spray without medication (ex: Hydrasense, sinus rinse, Salinex). I recommend that you consult your pharmacist, who will be able to guide you through the different products available and advise you based on your medical file
