I gave birth on January 8 and for the past 2 days I have had difficulty urinating despite the urge. Can I take anything in particular?

Hello,
In order to answer properly, I need to validate some information
Do you have difficulty urinating each time?
Do you feel any muscle weakness in your pelvic area?
When you urinate, is it a good quantity of urine or small quantities at a time?

Every time yes. Small amount of urine but when I urinate there is no heating in the urethra. It's like I have a pressure/blue area near the urethra/clitoris. I had a catheter inserted the day after I gave birth but the pain started 3 days ago now

I understand. Thank you for the clarification
I don't believe I have a product in the pharmacy to help with your problem. There is a combination of factors that I believe is causing your difficulty in urinating. The fact that you have just given birth and that you had a catheter probably causes muscle weakness in the urethra and/or bladder.
Also, perhaps the catheter created micro-lesions that could have caused blood to pool in the mucosa (blue/pressure). This should be checked with a doctor though. If your problem gets worse in the next few days or if it's not gone after 7 days, you'll need to see a doctor to make sure everything is OK
I hope that answers your question a little bit. I am unfortunately not the best professional for your problem at this time, but I hope I have directed you as best I can.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
